With over 50 years experience in the corrugated packaging industry, here at Garthwest we prides ourselves in offering our diverse customer base a vast range of corrugated cardboard packaging.
While this includes the manufacture of standard cardboard boxes and cases (often using standard FEFCO layouts), a prime focus of our operations is creating completely bespoke corrugated cardboard packaging to solve specific issues and obstacles our clients may be facing and tailor a solution to their exact requirements.
Our corrugated division accounts for approximately 80% of our production and management time.
Investment and expertise
Garthwest Corrugated has been operating since 1964 with constant investment in our staff and production facilities. This investment ensures we remain at the cutting edge of our industry. Our latest investments include our state of the art EMBA 245 Casemaker and our ZUND XY plotting bed.
Although we have experience in primary packaging and we are happy to provide expert consultation, our main focus is in secondary and tertiary packaging, such as shipping cases, SRPs and other packaging material that protects our clients’ primary product packaging.
Die Cutting
At Garthwest, we implement both traditional flat bed and rotary die cutting methods when producing your corrugated packaging, mainly for custom-made shapes and complex layouts.
This is an alternative technique to traditional die cutting, where a flat cutting forme is pressed flat repeatedly onto the corrugated board.
The ability to manufacture corrugated cases in this manner offers a great deal of benefits, including quick setup, accurate registration, in-line printing and is extremely cost-effective for high volume runs.

We produce and ship more than 1.5 million pieces of cardboard packaging per week. We offer full print and packaging management services, including paper performance, client requirements and graphic design.
We manage manufacturing on behalf of our customers and work on a consultancy basis. We specialise in both packaging and print design. Our services run from concept stage through to strategic management of established packaging portfolios.
