Counter Display Units FAQs

What does CDU stand for?

Counter display unit. These point of sale (POS) stands sit on the cash desk or on shelving around a store to display and promote small products.

Is cardboard strong enough to withstand lots of use and heavier products?

Yes – we have developed corrugated cardboard that is both lightweight and surprisingly strong. Combined with expert structural design, this means our counter display units are long-lasting and can hold heavy products. (We would consider the safety factors however. A free standing display unit might be more suitable, with heavy products closer to the ground.)

Are Garthwest counter display units customisable?

Yes – every counter display unit we make is custom designed and made to order. Our in-house designers will work with you to develop a concept and create visualisations and mock-ups with final artwork. Our range of machinery gives us the flexibility to design and make the most unique counter display units.
